What Students Should be Able to Do by Grade Level

‘I Can’ statements represent a small part of a much larger learning progression and helps students maintain their trajectory towards mastery of what is essential. ‘I Can’ statements are provided to understand what students should be able to do by the end of a grade level.  The ‘I can” statements are from the California Department of Education, English Language Arts and Mathematics Common Core Standards.
